Fantastic article once again. Dramatic, tragic, outrageous, and delicious all at once. I think it was just a strategy to tie Trump up in court, his money, time, and energy. Plus I think they thought people would run from him due to all of these cases. (Why waste a vote??) But they underestimated (kind of as usual) the American people and voters. Trump is now a Martyr, a folk hero. Them again people also have a side by side comparison. Were you better off 4 years ago ??? Most people were.

BTW I learned since writing this that the DA and all licensed attorneys are considered "officers of the court" and if they lie to a judge in any circumstances it is perjury. It's not just lying under oath, it's any lie conveyed to a judge in or out of the court room and under any circumstances. Perjury can get a lawyer disbarred and this is pretty high-profile perjury on national TV no less. Judge Scott McAfee looks like he's toughening up, so if I were Fani, I'd be worried.
