SUBUD is very interesting. It's small and Obama's mother had ties to it. I can't find proof she was a member but she was definitely member-adjacent and knew the SUBUD folks. They have major ties in Hawaii and Indonesia, not so much elsewhere. The big daddy figure of SUBUD bears a striking resemblance to Barack Obama and there is some scuttlebutt that perhaps he might be Barack's real father?
