As Usual, It Was Never About What They Said It Was About
Marjorie Taylor Greene Is Pushing for an Emergency 2025 Census
There are many reasons that Democrats liked open borders. Despite the fact that they disavowed “demographic destiny,” Democrats saw unrestricted immigration as the handlebars to holding on to power. It isn’t about votes. It’s about head count. As the anonymous Hispanic in the cartoon above shows, what looks sweet and harmless may be deceiving. This is actually an act of blatant sedition.
As we all know, the United States has two chambers of Congress. There is the august body in the Senate with 100 Senators (two per state, regardless of state population) and then there is the boisterous and rowdy animal House of Representatives, which is capped at 435 representatives. While every state, no matter how large or small, gets a pair of Senators, the states divvy up how many representatives they get based mostly on population, with a few rules to complicate things.
No matter how few people reside in a state, each state gets at least one representative. So right out of the chute, there are 50 representatives, one per state
Then the rest are divided up so that the most populous states get more representatives than the least populous states
While the count varies by state, each representative in the House represents somewhere between 700,000 and 750,000 people
California is king here with 52 representatives, while Alaska, Delaware, and Vermont only have one
What this means is that while the Senate is pretty balanced when it comes to states, the House is dominated by the most populous states
Here is why Democrats love rampant illegal immigration. The United States Census Bureau (the Census) is the agency in charge of counting noses for deciding how many representatives each state gets. A census is conducted every 10 years, with the last one in 2020 and the next one due in 2030.
The Census Bureau counts every person who resides in a particular district (state, city, county, area) and the law prohibits the Census-taker (if it’s a person) or the form (if' it’s paper or online) to ask about citizenship. In the past, the census was allowed to ask about where a resident was born, citizenship status, age, even occupation. But the Supreme Court of the United States (SCOTUS) has recently said the Census may no longer ask about citizenship. Not only that, every person residing in the state must be counted. So you have to figure that some of the people counted in the census are not citizens.
Once the census counts all the people, the process of “apportionment” begins. Apportionment calculates who gets how many people in the House of Representatives, since the total cannot exceed 435. As usual and as per the Constitution, the most populous states get the most representatives and the least populated states get the fewest. And each census has the potential to add representatives to some states and take them away from other states.
Remember that time goofball Representative Jamal Bowman pulled a fire alarm and then apologized, saying he thought it was a door handle? Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) also known as MTG is pulling another fire alarm and this one is serious. She is introducing legislation demanding an emergency census.
Here’s Why
Some states—not mentioning any names but their initials are California and New York—are essentially single-party states where every person in government is a Democrat. Thus, California wants the biggest population possible because all of those residents are going to convert into massive numbers of Democrat Congressmen and -women who hail from California. This may be why California makes no effort to rid itself of its massive homeless encampments. (The homeless or the undomiciled as they are called count in a census and 25% of all homeless souls in America live in California.)
It’s the same with New York. There are other states that can use a strategic influx of people to add to their population and translate into more (Democrat) representatives.
Now the same thing would theoretically work for Republicans, except you may notice that the Biden administration was very careful and deliberate in settling illegals to strategic zones. It’s how back in the day, Barack Obama created a Somalian enclave in Minnesota that could elect a Somalian representative (but that’s another story for another day). Had these immigrants and refugees been dispersed across the country (which used to be our general policy on refugee resettlement in order to facilitate assimilation), they could not have formed such a voting block. (Case in point: the Vietnamese boat people back in the late 1970s and early 1980s were scattered across the country and not encouraged to congregate in specific cities, although that happened later.)
That’s why Democrats want more illegal immigration. Democrats don’t reproduce much—they favor abortion and LGBTQ stuff, anyway—so they can’t count on being fruitful and multiplying to win seats in the House of Representatives. So, they’ll import people, count them in the census, and leverage that to illegitimate majorities in Congress.
First and foremost, we don’t even know how many illegal residents are in this country. The Cato Institute suggests that as many as 5.5 to 6 million new illegal residents of this country were added just during the Biden years alone. If you imagine 5.5 million new people for the census to count, and that each 750,000 new people qualify for a new representative, we’re talking about adding 7 more representatives. Now, in truth, we’re not adding 7 new representatives—since 1911, we have been capped at 435 representatives. That’s a good thing, since I can barely stand keeping up with 435 of these people. But these new figures derived from the census may reduce representation in some districts and add representatives to other districts. Even now in our MAGA era, the House of Representatives is working on tight margins. We have in the House 220 Republicans, 212 Democrats, and three empty chairs (three Democrats have died in office: Raul Grijalva, Sylvester Turner, and Gerry Connolly of Arizona, Texas, and Virginia, respectively). With such a tight balance of power, anywhere the census could remove some key Republican seats and add some key Democrat seats is a win for the bad guys.
And that was always the plan.
The census could pull seats from the House away from valiant conservative bastions like Florida and Texas and Oklahoma and even the non-Philadelphia regions of Pennsylvania and give them to California and New York.
This is why Democrats wanted totally open borders and why there has been such Sturm und Drang to bus or fly these illegal migrants to specific locations. Biden ran all sorts of middle-of-the-night flights to get illegals out of Texas and into more strategic locations. I used to watch the flight data on Monkeywerx and wonder why all of these clandestine flights of illegals were taking place.
Then I figured it out.
And one last bit of information to make you realize this is truly an emergency. We don’t know the actual number of the new non-citizenry who are going to be counted in the census, since there are no official estimates of the so-called “got-aways.” And if that’s not enough to make you sick, these phony census stats could impact the Electoral College. If the non-citizens are positioned correctly and then counted in the census, it could give Blue States more Electoral College votes. That’s better that a majority in the House since it means you name the president. And remember the Democrat mantra: why bother to win an election when you can just steal it?
The Greene New Deal
MTG, who among her other charms plays the arch-nemesis of Jasmine Crockett in Congressional hearings, is submitting a bill to demand an “emergency census” in 2025. This is an off year (next census is not due till 2030) but she claims with total accuracy that our prevailing 2020 census is not an accurate reflection of the citizenry of the United States, on which representation and apportionment should be based. Here is why this is an urgently needed and great idea.
The 2020 census does not count voters, who have to be citizens; it just counts people who live here
There is no way to sort out the census totals into “citizens” versus “non-citizens” so the census will count every person as if they’re a citizen even though that is clearly not the case
Any state with a huge non-citizen population is going to get more representation than it deserves
Any state with few non-citizens may lose representation
The states with lots of illegals and “sanctuary cities” (magnets for non-citizens) are exclusively blue and are bound to get bluer by counting non-citizens
The census must go old school; we have to go back to the ancient ways of our people, where we require residents to disclose their citizenship status
MTG has been quietly laying the groundwork for this while Jasmine Crockett has been shouting at constituents in the House and flailing her arms like a meth addict with Tourette’s syndrome on a trampoline. In 2024, the House passed a bill that said the Census has to ask and record citizenship status. That part is fixed. By 2030, at the latest, we should be back to normal or as close as a nation with a Democrat party can be to normal.
The remedy that MTG is proposing is that we fix this in 2025. Today is better than tomorrow, 2025 is better than 2030. Think of it as an emergency census. The left is always howling about existential threats to democracy. I think MTG has actually found an existential threat to democracy, and it needs to be fixed right away.
A census is not cheap. The 2020 census cost us over $13B. It is possible that technological innovations like electronic registration could reduce this cost, but the Census still involves some old-fashioned door-knocking and follow-up to track down nonresponding households.
This is one of those matters where we have to weigh the cost of taking action against the cost of not taking action. Trillions of dollars in federal funding could be at stake. Think of what Democrat leadership has done to this country from 2020 to 2024. If we don’t get this census sorted out, the Democrats will be in power for a long time to come. If they get majorities in Congress and the Executive Branch again, we can kiss a fair census good-bye along with fair elections and fair representations.
Citizenship Is Don’t Ask/Don’t Tell?
In the past, the census asked about citizenship, but around 1950, this question was thrown off the short-form census. The short-form was an abbreviated form designed to encourage people to participate in the census. In other words, those boomers in charge back in the 1950s-1960s were thinking that if they could streamline the questionnaires, they could get better results. Even back then, we had illegal immigrants, and our census counted non-citizens. The best figures I can get on the immigrant population of America in 1950 was “approximately two million” and that counted both legal and illegal immigrants together with no way to sort out those who might have been naturalized and had a right to vote versus those who did not.
In 2018 Trump began to look into adding a citizenship question back into the census, but allegedly minorities objected, arguing that immigrants would not be counted. That seems an absurd argument, but I don’t think this was a massive legal effort by the immigrant community—I think it was a Soros-bankrolled Democrat ploy (aren’t they all?) to make it seem like Trump was a racist when all he was doing was trying to get an accurate count of U.S. citizens. (I know lots of immigrants and I don’t know one who has any opinion either way on the census. Some don’t even know what it is.)
In the lead-up to the 2020 Census, Trump tried to add a citizenship question to the census, but SCOTUS ruled on the matter and they said, “No!” The case was covered in a strange way, as if Trump was asking something bizarre and unprecedented, when in reality, he was only trying to revert back to the way we had always done it before since it gave us accurate citizenship data. In fact, if you look up old citizenship records on Ancestry.com or other genealogy sites, you’ll find the old census documents asked the birthplace of the resident, citizenship, and sometimes the birthplace of both parents as well as the language spoken by the resident. The SCOTUS decision was allegedly based not on whether asking about citizenship was allowed in a census, they ruled because they did not like why Trump was asking to ask about citizenship. (Democrats give me a headache.)
In 2024, the House undid that debacle, and now we can ask about citizenship.
The problem is the next census doesn’t hit till 2030, and that means a lot of people could get elected to the House and maybe the White House who shouldn’t be there. Bogus census counts of the citizenry could re-apportion Electoral College votes, too.
The Cover Story for the Cover-Up
Some people think that the reason Biden allowed unlimited rampant and uncontrolled immigration was to get new voters. That was always just the cover story—just like “he was born in Kenya” is the cover story for Obama’s birth. (It is my opinion that Obama was not born in Hawaii so Kenya was floated as the “cover story” but in actuality, well, that’s a story for another day. Let’s just say the guy is not from around here or around Kenya, either.) The cover story for illegal immigration was two-fold: one, we were just being our usual humanitarian selves and offering a beacon of hope in a dark and dying world. Two, the Democrats were planning to let illegals vote, knowing that 100% for sure they would vote Democrat.
Both are fabrications.
Most illegals do not vote, despite being offered copious opportunities, mail-in ballots, and other incentives to do so by Democrat organizers. In actuality, the number of illegals who cast ballots in federal elections is unknown, but it is likely very low. And many radical states have actual measures they enforce to keep non-citizens off the roles and out of the polls.
The idea that 5.5M new people entering this country represents 5.5M new Democrat voters is the cover story. It’s not the reason the Democrats want illegal immigration. They know most illegals don’t vote and won’t vote even if they get amnesty and naturalization. They also know that as they shift more to the left, many illegals are going to favor Republican rather than Democrat policies. We’re already seeing a lot of naturalized immigrants swing hard to the right.
No, Democrats want unlimited immigration mainly to get more representatives into the House and more Electoral College votes, plus they like super-cheap near-slave labor.
Note that in some local elections, such as for city council or school boards, some communities permit non-citizens to vote. However, even here—where it is legal within very specific boundaries—most non-citizens do not bother to vote. As curious as it seems, naturalized citizens historically have a poor voter turnout. Midterm turnout was about 53.4% for born-here citizens compared to 41.4% for naturalized citizens. If you know any naturalized citizens, ask them if they vote. They often don’t. So if Democrats were trying to build a voting block of illegals, it was always doomed to fail.
They knew it. But that was never the plan.
The Democrats don’t want illegals here to vote (although they’re happy if they do, providing they vote blue), they want illegals to ramp up the population numbers strategically to put more Electoral College votes and representatives on their team. And plus, they need people to work for slave-wages doing disagreeable jobs.
Sound the Alarm, We Need an Emergency Census
This is the way we drive a stake through the heart of the Democrats. They never intended to win an election based on running good candidates (they don’t have any and they don’t care—they’re not developing a bench). They never planned on winning an election based on policies. They have bumper-sticker slogans, not policies. They never planned on building a better country—they plagiarize and steal everything that sounds good while contributing next to nothing. The reason they even still exist as a party is that they lie, cheat, and steal.
We have to stop them. We may never be able to stop all of their nefarious activities, but we can—and must—stop their juking the numbers in the census. We need an emergency recount for 2025 and then we can get back on the usual schedule of 2030, 2040, and so on.
If you’re a citizen of the United States, this is your country. Don’t let a bunch of thieves take it from you.
