Trump Is Not Like Hitler
Let Me Count the Ways
You don’t have to be a news junkie or a social media denizen to hear the claims that Trump is like Hitler. Hardly a day goes by that I am not told by mainstream media that Trump is like Hitler. Sometimes they even say Trump is Hitler, you know, like some wonky form of reincarnation.
Well, on this Election Day Eve, we are here to debunk this myth. And to mock those elitists who are utterly unfamiliar with modern history. Here are two dozen ways in which the German with the mustache differs from Donald J. Trump.
In the Golan Heights of Israel, there is a town named Trump Heights. There is no town in Israel that has ever been named Hitler Heights or Hitler Anything Else.
Trump was born in the nation he seeks to lead. Hitler was born in Austria, moved to Germany, seized power in Germany, and then annexed Austria so his birthplace became part of Germany. (That would be like Obama becoming U.S. President and then annexing Kenya… oh, wait, that’s another story…)
Hitler tried to overthrow the German government, was apprehended, tried, and convicted for treason. He went to jail for about a year before they let him out, thinking he was harmless. The biggest charge they could ever figure out for Trump was that his lawyer once made a bookkeeping error. Oh, and some crazy old lady said Trump (and about a dozen other guys at other times) raped her, but she couldn’t remember when… not even the year. But the deep state wants to lock him up because they know very well Trump could win an election and maybe even stop their grift.
Trump has five children by three different wives. Hitler had no children that we know of and had a weird long-term relationship with a woman he married right before they committed suicide. When their wedding vows were over, Trump kissed the bride, Hitler poisoned her.
Trump’s daughter married a Jewish man and the couple are raising their children as Jews. Hitler sought to destroy all Jews living in Germany or in German-occupied territories.
Trump never invaded Poland, Denmark, Norway or any other country. Hitler invaded Poland pretty much as a first order of business and then came back for Denmark and Norway.
Trump likes music, but never took singing lessons. Hitler took singing lessons.
Trump studied economics at the world-famous Wharton School of Business in Pennsylvania. Economics is a valuable subject for running a government. Hitler wanted to study painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna but could not get admitted. Painting is less helpful for running a country.
Trump wants to be elected for four more years. Hitler became a dictator in perpetuity (the Fuhrer) with death the only way to remove him from office.
Trump has never interred people in concentration camps. Hitler ran a network of concentration camps that systematically exterminated over 6M people, including Jews, Romany (gypsies), the disabled, and homosexuals or “sexual deviants.”
People don’t know this, but Hitler also systematically killed Jehovah’s Witnesses. Trump has never ordered the extermination of the Jehovah’s Witnesses, and he wouldn’t do it, even if they knocked on the White House door.
Trump brokered world peace in his last term and prefers peace to war. Hitler started war every chance he got.
Trump never killed any prisoners of war; Hitler killed over 3M Russian prisoners of war.
Trump eats a mainstream diet and is known for his love of fast food and Diet Cokes. Hitler was a strict vegetarian and very fussy about his food.
Trump has never persecuted or penalized the disabled. Hitler ran Aktion T4, which authorized the government to euthanize people with mental or physical handicaps.
Trump’s slogan is Make America Great Again and he likes people to say they love America. Hitler demanded that Germans declare their loyalty specifically to him and not the country, in part by saying, “Heil Hitler!” (Hail, Hitler!)
Trump cut taxes when he was in office and promises to cut taxes again if elected again. Hitler cut taxes, too—for himself. He declared himself permanently tax exempt once he got into office.
Under Hitler, the work week extended to between 47 and 50 hours a week. Trump did issue orders to make a longer work week mandatory.
Trump has not annexed any countries to the United States. In fact, Trump is not too keen on adding Puerto Rico or Washington, D.C. as new states. Hitler added whole countries to Germany.
The British royal family allegedly does not like Trump. The British royal family back in the 1930s was extremely enamored of Hitler. And, remember, Prince Harry dressed up as a Nazi officer for a costume party.
The New York Times despises Trump and from time to time prints slanderous things about him. The New York Times, back in the day, was quite keen on Hitler and from time to time published flattering things about him.
Trump has never appeared on the United Nations list of War Criminals. Hitler has. In fact, he appeared on the very first list. He may be the reason they started keeping lists (1944).
Trump can make America great again. Hitler couldn’t even keep Germany from total destruction. In fact, Hitler was known to have said in speeches, “Give me 10 years, and you won’t recognize Germany!” Well, in a way, he was right: Germany was bombed into oblivion.
Trump does not have a mustache. Hitler did.
The only odd similarity I could find between the two men was that neither one smoked cigarettes.
But just because the The Washington Post and The New York Times and all the mainstream media, not to mention the angry gals on The Herd, I mean The View, tell you Trump is Hitler … he’s not.

Yes, Hitler claimed to be anti-Marxist but what he really disagreed with is alignments. Marx said workers of the world would unit. Hitler thought that was ridiculous but he thought Germans would unite with Germans. That's why he coined the term "National" Socialists to differentiate from the communist party which saw itself as more internationally inclined.
Hitler was also authoritarian. As soon as he got in power, he put himself in charge in a whole new office (Fuhrer) that could never be voted on and he could never be removed. Then he exempted himself from all taxes (he did not extend this favor to his people). As soon as Hitler infiltrated the system (the German government at the time), he changed it.
Trump works within it. I find the whole "Trump is Hitler" stuff so ridiculous, I just wanted to make fun of it.
Hitler led a SOCIALIST party. MAGA is not socialist, nor communist, like the Democratic Party is now.
