The Seven Signs of Psy-Ops

And A Series of Monkey Wrenches

Chase Hughes is probably best known to Ricochet Cafe readers as one of the guys on the YouTube show The Behavior Panel (a great and eclectic YouTube chanel about body language), but he’s also former military and off-the-chart smart. He recently described the seven stages of a psychological operation used in order to make a radical transition from one political regime to another. Up until now, our military intelligence used these in foreign countries where the United States wanted to cause a regime change. This is CIA stuff. Now it’s domestic.

Here are the seven steps—they go in this order.

1. Identify and exploit weaknesses

2. Manipulate public perception

3. Create internal division

4. Amplify social unrest

5. Discredit achievements

6. Promote alternatives

7. Stage a crisis

The last one is particularly important because, as Hughes says, people are most suggestible when they are frightened. When people are calm and confident, they are more critical of the information they are given. Relaxed people have time and energy to think. Scare people out of their minds and they will run to the first opportunity that promises them some small degree of safety.

Biden recently called himself a “transitional president.” I’m not sure he was supposed to say this publicly. The United States has always had a two-party system with the potential for third parties and independents. The idea of power shifting from Republican to Democrat hands and back again is hardly a transition—it would be business as usual. So what kind of “transitional president” was he supposed to be? What “transition” was meant? Was he supposed to be the president who took us from our usual two-party system to a one-party authoritarian rule under the various guises of the “new world order”?

We know there are organizations like the World Economic Forum and the World Health Organization that are openly advocating for a one-world system. We know Soros wants the current United States system to collapse, and he puts his money where his big old fat liver lips are. We know Alex, Son of Soros, would like to see an authoritarian regime come to power. There are powerful forces that want an authoritarian regime to rule.

Let’s go back briefly in history. The power-brokers expected Hillary to win in 2016 and to serve the full eight years, giving the Democrats a total of 16 years (8 Barack years, followed by 8 Hillary years). These 16 years would allow them to make the transition from constitutional republic to one-party authoritarian rule. When Trump won in 2016, it threw the first of what would be a series of monkeywrenches into these plans. That’s when they used the 7-step plan above for the first time.

They amplified the problems with Trump, called him a racist, and they controlled and distorted the mainstream media (MSM) to make Trump seem like a buffoon and a tyrant. The Black Lives Matter riots created social unrest and turned up the flames on racism. No matter what Trump did—including bringing peace to the Middle East—his achievements were trivialized or were misrepresented as failures. Anyone who was not a pathological Democrat was derided as being a racist or a misogynist. Diversity-equity-and-inclusion (DEI) policies created unprecedented levels of incompetence in our culture—and DEI could not be criticized. The progressives emerged as the new—and only—way forward. Progressives were for the people, we were told, and Trump (the man who refused to take a paycheck and actually lost net worth while in the White House) was only in it for himself.

Then came step 7. COVID!

Regardless of what you think about the 2020 election, you have to admit that most people were scared during the pandemic. The mood of the country was one of fear and uncertainty, no matter what party you supported. People were told nonstop to be scared of death and dying, and not just for ourselves but for our parents and grandparents and children. The only living beings exempted from the COVID panic of 2020-2021 were our pets. Dogs did not have to worry. After that panic eased up a little, people were scared of the country being on indefinite lockdown. Remember how we were told that bodies were piling up in the streets? That refrigerator trucks were going in and out of New York to haul off the corpses? Biden came to power and I heard more than one person say that Biden was the right guy to handle the pandemic crisis that Trump had “bungled.”

Biden said he was supposed to be the “transitional president.” He was going to be the puppet to a cast of characters behind the scenes who now had 4 or maybe even 8 years to get this new world order thing off the ground. I say “new world order” but I mean a one-party authoritarian system that would throw the Constitution out the window, pack the Supreme Court with lefty lunatics, disband the Electoral College and likely elections altogether, and take away our guns and rights to assembly and free speech. The authoritarian regime wanted to destroy the family and muffle the church. Propaganda would replace information. Ministries of truth would filter our news. Biden, or rather the crew behind him, was and still is working hard on all of that.

Monkey wrench number 2 appeared when Trump decided to run for President again in 2024 and the Democrats looked around and found out they had no bench. Biden was frail and feeble. Kamala is the least electable person in American history. Other candidates didn’t look too good when compared to Trump—Newsom, Whitmer, Hochhul, Michelle Obama. So the challenge was getting Trump off the ticket.

Lather, rinse, repeat. They repeated the same 7 steps. The deep state is nothing if not consistent. Trump was painted as the convicted felon, the rapist, the criminal, and the thug. Racism was used to divide the country, which was soon joined by antisemitism. Pro-Hamas protestors took over campuses and disturbed big-city traffic. Some climate people joined in the disruptions, gluing themselves to roadways. Nothing seemed to make sense. Then we had nonstop PRIDE events and gender re-assignment clinics were grabbing for kids. The Trump economy was belittled, the Trump border policies derided. Unfettered migration was occurring over an open southern border while the United States was pumping billions after billions into securing the border of Ukraine. We were gaslit and told the border was closed, prices were coming down, jobs were being created. The old Trump lies were recycled, you know, about drinking bleach or kids in cages or the “very fine people” hoax. Progressives were painted as a viable solution. After all, Trump was described as Hitler, and most people look pretty good compared to Hitler. Even Rashida Tlaib is better than Hitler.

And then … July 13.

J13 was not supposed to have turned out the way it did. J13 was supposed to have been the day the took out the only viable opponent to the new world order and threw the nation into chaos. Fear makes people suggestible and the suggestions were going to be to turn over all power to a new group of people who were going to look out for our interests. We were going to be told our nation was at the mercy of violent thugs, so we need to hand over our guns and go to an authoritarian government. We were going to be told to be thankful to that Crooks kids, he saved us from a reign of terror.

J13 may have produced the most iconic political image in American history. Trump catapulted from an American presidential candidate to a global hero. He’s being portrayed as a hero in Japanese anime. Even AlJazeera News carried the headline: World Leaders Express Solidarity with Trump After Assassination Attempt. J13 was a trending topic on Chinese social media. The stock market shot up when it was clear that Trump not only survived, but was defiant. Talk about the shot heard round the world! Trump is now unstoppable.

The deep state needed another plan and that plan means finding a candidate who could compete against Trump. Biden was simply no longer viable.

So the deep state (or “the blob” as Michael Benz calls them) re-used the 7 steps again to oust Biden when he proved unworkable. This is the third monkey wrench.

Of course, stealing the election may not be off the table for Democrats, but it’s vastly more difficult this time around. Maybe even impossible. I mean you can phony up a few million ballots, but can you phony up 50M or more ballots? At some point, you bump up against the fact that America has only a finite number of registered voters. In 2024, there are almost 262M registered voters. Let’s be outlandish and say 200M will vote for Trump. That means the election thieves have to disappear about 70M Trump votes and phony up about 70M Biden votes. (That would mean 130M for Trump and 132M for Biden.) That’s a tall order, even with early voting. I realize this example is extreme, but people underestimate the popularity of Trump at their own peril.

Plus many districts have shored up election rules and cleaned up voter rolls. Democrats are going to still try to steal the election, it is just a whole different ball game now.

That’s why they pulled J13. The idea was just to get rid of their opponent. And, by the way, this sure has all the earmarks of an inside job. You know why? Because it was an inside job. The deep state is getting desperate and desperate people get sloppy.

Now that that J13 flopped (and exposed the deep state’s rather ponderous backside even more), they have to oust Biden in favor of some other candidate. This new candidate has only a remote chance at winning, but Biden is a sure-loser and he’s starting to get to the point that he’s saying politically revealing things (like being a “transitional president”).

Notice how the MSM suddenly switched gears and started to criticize Biden? It was very abrupt. Overnight in July 2024, everyone in the MSM started to report on what everyone in the MSM knew in 2020 and some knew as far back as 2018: Biden is cognitively impaired to the point of being nonfunctional. Biden’s policies are now being criticized. Gas could cost $7 a gallon but the MSM didn’t see this as a problem until just recently. His horrible debate performance was mocked … by Democrats. Lefty CNN ran a relatively fair debate and actually gave Trump a shot at making his points. (Would they have done that in 2020? Not a chance!) The MSM ceased covering up for Biden and started to do some actual, albeit mildly honest, reporting. The Democrat party started to splinter. Some Democrats demanded Biden quit; Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer—just days ago ardent Biden fans—now want him to drop out. Joe Scarborough went from saying this was “the best Biden ever” to Biden was unfit to run for re-election … in about 48 hours. Others like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez want Biden to stay in last week. Who knows what she’ll say today? Meanwhile, the progressives are turning antisemitic and they keep making menacing faces at the Supreme Court.

And the Democrat rhetoric is starting to sound bat-poo crazy. Despite the fact that all the Dobbs decision did was return the abortion question to the states rather than making abortion laws at a federal level, Democrats are shrieking nonstop about the end of women’s healthcare and the demise of civilization if women cannot have unrestricted abortions. The Democrats are screaming that we need to pack the Supreme Court or maybe just get rid of it. Biden—who had served in the Senate for decades and may be the poster child for the career politician—is pushing for term limits on Supreme Court justices. Democrats say everybody is racist, except when you criticize Justice Clarence Thomas or make slurs against Ben Carson. Oh, and we need to ban weapons and, while we’re at it, free speech. And we need to let schools handle children who might be considering gender transition—parents should rightly be circumvented in the process. Oh, and Christian families can no longer take in foster children, they’re too dangerous.

The old guard is getting nervous. The party is splintering, because not all Democrats are cookie-cutter commies. Some Democrats want lower prices, some think tax increases are unwarranted (particularly since Congress is unwilling to stop spending money like a drunken sailor). Some Democrats are not OK with the FBI chasing down traditional Catholics. Some Democrats think that party has abandoned working class people in favor of tech moguls, celebrities, and billionaire boys. The Biden regime, including Homeland Security, the FBI, the CIA, the Department of Justice are all being rightly scrutinized for their unamerican activities. Some old-school Democrats are starting belatedly to wonder if their party is actually who they say they are.

The Democrat officials are now proposing that maybe Gavin or Gretchen or even Kamala might be an alternative. I know some people think Michelle will swoop in as the last-minute hero, but I don’t think that is likely.

But somebody is going to swoop in.

They have already run steps 1 to 6 in a hurry on Biden. I guess when you live by the psy-op, you die by the psy-op. Biden is being carved up on a platter in a matter of days using the same steps.

So what about step 7 for Biden? What’s the crisis this time? We’ll have to see, but I suspect Biden is going to somehow not be available for re-election soon. He may get sick (he hinted just yesterday that a medical problem might take him out of the race). Some people have wondered out loud if Biden actually has COVID. I have no idea if he does or not, but I know it would be really, really easy to give him COVID.

Whatever the crisis is, the Democrats are not going to be able to piece together a good election strategy, but they’re counting on scaring their party into voting for whoever they can get on the ticket. The real candidate they’re running should just be called “Not-Trump.” That’s the main job qualification. That, and being willing to work for the new world order overlords.

Nothing can stop what’s coming. Now where have I heard that before?
