I am bewildered by recent current events. I am going to refrain from saying things I don’t know (which is why I don’t work for the mainstream media) but here are some big mysteries. I have nothing new to share on these, but they seem bizarre to me.

So many stories do not make sense!

1. What is going on with the drones over New Jersey? I have no particular sources for this story so all I know is what I see in news outlets. Drones are flying all over New Jersey. Are they part of our top-secret military technology? (It’s not too secret if they’re flying every night over New Jersey.) Are they foreign invaders? Are they just people who have drones having some fun? Are they perhaps domestic invaders? If you fly a drone over Area 51, my firm conviction is that it will be shot down in about 10 seconds and the owner of the drone will be found and interrogated and likely spend time in prison. So why are these drones flying around like they own the place?

2. What is going on with Luigi Mangione, the guy who allegedly shot the CEO of United Healthcare? Mangione shot Brian Thompson in the back on a public street in Manhattan on December 9, 2024. The left—which loves Obamacare—now seems curiously cheerful about this cold-blooded murder because, as Liz Warren says, “people can only take so much.” But United Healthcare was one of the pillars of Obamacare. How can lefties be pro-Obamacare but anti-health-insurance? Luigi Mangione himself is a mystery. He’s a rich kid from a political family and I just read somewhere that there are family ties to the D’Alesandro family in Baltimore (that’s Nancy Pelosi’s family—her maiden name was D’Alesandro). The story goes that he has back pain and had trouble getting coverage. But rich people can always get the care they need, and Luigi seems to move like he doesn’t have spinal pain. And what a weird criminal he is—he uses a “ghost gun” but is captured days later wearing the exact same clothing and carrying his manifesto. I’m no criminal mastermind, but if I were going to commit a high-profile murder knowing it would be caught on video, I’d change my clothes.

3. What is happening between Meloni and Musk? Italian prime minister Giorgia Meloni is making goo-goo eyes with Elon Musk. That seems odd.

4. Why have we forgotten about Thomas Matthew Crooks? The FBI can name every Republican who was in or near the Capitol on January 6, 2021, but we know next to nothing about Thomas Matthew Crooks. He is the young man, now deceased, who fired on Trump in Butler, Pennsylvania and also allegedly killed Corey Compatore, a firefighter in the audience (and injured two other men who survived).

5. And what about Ryan Routh? You may have forgotten about him, he’s the guy who was lying in wait at Trump’s home to shoot him. He’s in prison in Florida. Now the story comes out from Jesse Watters that a Secret Service agent saw Routh in the bushes and fired on Routh point-blank six times and missed every time. That story merits deeper investigation because by and large, the mission of the Secret Service is to protect the President and other high-ranking figures, not to shoot offenders. Typically, the Secret Services gets the protectee out of harm’s way and let’s law enforcement go after the bad guy. And typically guys who can pass fire arm certification tests can hit a target five feet away.

6. What about Navy Joan? Is there no end to the Christmas cruelty of the Biden fmaily? Biden’s seventh grandchild is once again shunned and excluded from White House Christmas festivities, even as Joe tries to plead “father of the year” for pardoning his criminal son Hunter. Joe and Jill have never met Navy Joan, the child Hunter had with Lundon Roberts, aka, his baby mama.

7. And finally, what’s up with “white privilege” in basketball? Caitlin Clark is transforming the once boring sport of women’s basketball into something interesting, but she just apologized for her success because of “white privilege.” Yeah, if there’s one thing that I think of when I watch basketball on TV, it’s “white privilege.” What Black person has a chance playing basketball? As anyone who has watched even 30 seconds of American basketball on TV knows, basketball is dominated by Blacks! Then Caitlin Clark comes along, plays like a superstar, and has been on the receiving end of many vicious attacks by her teammates, including long acrylic fingernails jammed into her eye socket. Clark should be proud of what she’s doing, she’s changing the sport. The other players should be cheering Clark and how she’s elevated the game for all players, instead of trying to gouge her eyes out.

I don’t understand. So I am going to keep digging into these stories until I have something to say.
