Who Put the Scam in the Obama-Lama-Ding-Dong?

When Barack Hussein Obama stepped into the White House in January 2009, not only were Democrats boss in the House of Representatives (257 seats) and the Senate (60 seats), the Democrats controlled both chambers of the legislatures of more than half of the states (27 to be exact). That meant not only were Democrats running Washington, D.C., they were running most of the states as well. When Obama allegedly left politics in 2016, the Democrats ran only 13 states.

They lost control of 14 state houses.

At the same time, the Democrats lost a total of 13 governor’s mansions by 2016.

And if you just count seats in the state legislatures, nobody since Dwight Eisenhower forfeited more seats to the opposing party than Barack Obama—a whopping 816 seats in state government. And by 2017, the Senate came under Republican control with just 48 Democrats (down from 60) and 52 Republicans. As early as 2010, the Democrats under Obama lost 63 seats in the House and by 2014, they lost 13 more.

Altogether the Obama years cost the Democrat party 1,030 seats in various offices in government, but who’s counting?

I’m no political analyst, but this would seem to be counterproductive to Democrat goals. So why is this guy the Democrat icon?

A Most Unusual Man

Obama is an unusual character with an exotic and profoundly secret past who emerged as an interesting figure in politics. He is viewed—and rightly, perhaps—as a historical figure because he was the first Black President. Of course, you don’t have to look too hard to see that Obama was far from African-American, and he lacked the experiences typical of those who grow up Black in America. That’s because Obama, for one thing, didn’t grow up in America. He grew up part of the time in Indonesia. The rest of the time, he grew up in a white family in Honolulu. His mother was white, but she abandoned him to her white parents before he was 12. Although Obama at least knew his mother, he always seemed more fixated on his African-born father, whom by the son’s accounts he saw only once. Barack Obama Senior never lived in the same household as his son and the boy’s mother; he never wrote to him when he went away to Harvard and later back to Kenya. No birthday gifts, no holiday greetings. In fact, Barack Obama grew up with fewer Black role models around him than most of his white peers. It is said that when Barack first enrolled in Occidental College in Los Angeles, the other kids in his dorm knew him as “that Hawaiian kid” and were surprised he claimed to be Black.

In an ironic twist of mendacity, Barack Obama carries the burden and honor of being “the first Black president” that perhaps was never his to carry. He has enough melanin in his skin pass for Black, but he grew up affluent, privileged, part of a white household with all-white relatives. Most white Americans know and interact with more Black people than the Dunham family who raised Barack Obama. Even now, he prefers to live in the all-white community of Martha’s Vineyard. His family was never enslaved; on his dad’s side they were rich Kenyans from the Luo tribe residing in the British colony of Kenya; on his mom’s side they were CIA in Honolulu. The only Black person in young Barack’s life was Frank Marshall Davis, a communist poet and political activist with a penchant for pornography. The story is that Barack’s grandfather, Stanley Armour Dunham was CIA and assigned to watching Davis.

Today, the party that once raised Barack Obama up and cheered him as an icon of the American Black experience is in shambles. The Democrats may never recover; if they do recover, they will recover as a different party than the one Obama championed.

So what went wrong? Why was Obama so terribly fragile?

No Policy, No Platform, No Ideas

Obama served 8 years and only crafted one important policy and it was a stinker: Obamacare. The comedian Jon Lovitz was his speechwriter back then (no kidding) and coined the phrase that came back to haunt Obama and the Democrats: “If you like your healthcare plan, you can keep it.” Obamacare was always unconstitutional, and Obama knew it. Obama claimed to be a Harvard educated Constitutional attorney so he should have known. But then again, I’ll believe he graduated college when—to paraphrase the fictional movie character Jerry Maguire—you show me the diploma.

Obamacare was unconstitutional because it required U.S. citizens to purchase a product from a private company—which sounds a tad fascistic (the merging of business and government). By mandating that citizens purchase specific commercial insurance policies (with or without subsidies), the premise of Obamacare was decidedly unamerican and it is said that even Obama was surprised it passed. More than that, it did not fix healthcare in this country, it just put the foxes in charge of the henhouse. (If Obamacare was so great, why did that Mangione monster gun down a health insurance executive to Democrat cheers? I thought Obamacare fixed insurance and made it fair and perfect?)

Obamacare passed on a technicality because the dopes on the Supreme Court decided forcing people to buy specific commercial insurance policies was a “tax” and not a “purchase,” and therefore legal. This was not the first or the last time the Supreme Court voted on politics rather than principle, but that’s another story for another day.

The legacy of Obamacare is grim. One of the premises of the Affordable Care Act (ACA), also known as Obamacare, was that it mandated that all health records become digitized. Electronic health records had to be compatible so that your medical information could whiz all around from this hospital to that doctor to this insurance company and back to another doctor. That sounds good until you realize that your medical records—which the ACA said are private and confidential—were traveling all over the place without your knowledge. One of those places was the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) which needed to know ACA information since Obamacare was a “tax” and they were keeping tabs on payments and subsidies.

What Obama did was build an invisible bridge between the private health data of American citizens and the IRS. This was not the only time Obama intruded on the privacy of Americans but this time he made it national.

And ACA is a misnomer. It’s hardly affordable—according to the Congressional Budget Office, we spend 7% of our gross domestic product making sure people have the ACA so they can be turned down for the care they need. And for some of us (myself included), the Obamacare policy I got was actually more expensive than the premium private insurance they made me surrender. The only difference was my old insurance let me go to local hospitals and doctors, but the ACA blocked me from every decent hospital in the county. (I could go to the county hospital that took indigent patients—but that was the best I could hope for.)

At the end of eight horribly authoritarian years, that was the onlymajor policy Obama had—a rather crumbly and crumbling healthcare reform that cost more money than it was worth. The Congressional Budget Office says that by 2030, ACA will cost taxpayers about $1T.

Thanks, Obama!

Hate Those Who are For You and Hate Those Who are Against You

Obama, the alleged community organizer, had trouble forming coalitions and bringing groups together. He sicced the Internal Revenue Service on Conservatives, passed an order allowing media outlets to spread propaganda, and he called most of the country people who “cling to their guns and Bibles” like this was some sort of act of shame. Meanwhile, he was against gay marriage until he was for it, and he was always 100% for late-term abortion. But if you think Obama was hard on Conservatives, he also tore into Democrats, too.

In fact, his main legacy is that he pretty much fragmented, stomped on, and then set fire to the Democrats while pouring gasoline into the dumpster and shouting swear words.

Obama’s “loyalists” were as creepy as the Addams family. Obama had (and still has) a strange relationship with Valerie Jarret, who actually lived at the White House with the family. She was known as the “Night Stalker” because she worked by day among the White House staff but she alone had Obama’s ear after hours in the private residence. Obama had an indecisive and weak Cabinet. He made Hillary Clinton Secretary of State, which was a weird move, since he despised her.

He also made Joe Biden his Vice President, another person for whom he had almost palpable contempt. There is a story that Biden strong-armed Obama to get on the ticket. Remember, Biden had tried to run for President a couple of times and crashed and burned. He now was hoping maybe he could finish his career as a Vice President. Fate helped him. Around 2007, an inconvenient man named Larry Sinclair was running around telling stories and taking polygraph tests that he had had a couple of cocaine-and-gay-sex encounters with Barack Obama when he was in the Illinois State Legislature. Larry was getting some traction and doing talk shows in Delaware when another man named Beau Biden locked him up. At the time, Beau was the Attorney General of Delaware, the Biden’s private plantation. The incarceration was very helpful to Obama since it kept Sinclair out of the public eye, and it discredited him. And to be sure, Larry Sinclair had done drugs and passed bad checks; there was justifiable cause to put him in prison. In return for keeping Sinclair incarcerated, Joe Biden demanded a quid-pro-quo. I can’t prove that story but it’s well circulated. The story goes Obama welcomed Joe to the ticket and Sinclair stayed in prison in Delaware until the votes were counted.

Obama also had a strange and unexpected way of putting his foot in his mouth like holding the “beer summit” where said police acted stupidly (when they were following procedure). He claimed if he had had a son, the boy would have been like Trayvon Martin, although this young man was hardly the innocent victim that Obama portrayed. He bungled crises (like the Christmas bomber and the Gulf oil spill), he was weak on the economy, and he accepted honors he very clearly did not deserve like the Nobel Peace Prize.

One time Obama said that he had traveled to all 57 states in the United States. Everyone is entitled to a blooper now and then, and maybe he was tired. But I’ve been tired too, and it never caused me to add 7 states to the union. This was the President speaking!

Some say Obama was a great speaker, but he needed a teleprompter. The true Obama is emerging now in speaking engagements here and there as a bitter, angry old man. He’s a bitter old man clinging to his past presidency and honors, not realizing they’ve turned to ash.

In some ways, he is a bigger failure than Biden. Biden at least had brain damage.

Both Barack and Michelle Obama enjoyed the Hollywood celebrity circuit, took massive payments for books nobody wanted, and opted to live in all-white enclaves and hobnob with the rich.

The Strangest First Lady Ever

Michelle Obama entered Obama’s life together with Valerie Jarret. You have to realize that Barack Obama was groomed to be President by unseen forces and one of those forces who occasionally peeks out behind the curtains was Valerie Jarret. Michelle was angling for a six-figure job in Chicago and figured she had a good shot since she was friends with Jesse Jackson and the other Chicago Democrat terrorists.

Michelle met Valerie at the time she got engaged to the “rising star” Barack, and Valerie launched the plans that made Obama President. Michelle was a sort of “check the boxes” kind of wife.

• Obama had previously dated women who were not Black. Such wives would be quite unsuitable. He needed a Black wife from an African-American background.

• Obama had previously dated women who were not political activists. He needed a wife who was plugged into the Chicago political machine.

• He had also allegedly had a number of gay encounters. He needed a wife who could accept his alternative life style while creating the fictional facade of the perfect all-American nuclear family.

Michelle was perfect and since she wanted a celebrity lifestyle, it was a perfect quid-pro-quo match. She created the aura of family for Barack and Barack made sure a lot of money rolled her way. If Barack and Michelle were a real couple, they’d still be together, but Barack no longer needs her for his political life, and she has enough money to live without him. Divorce is all but inevitable for them.

But that’s not the weirdest of the Michelle Obama rumors. She has been dogged all throughout her tenure for being a man. It is true that Michelle Obama has mannish features: she has very broad shoulders, extremely muscular arms (rare in women who are not professional bodybuilders), big hands, and she sits like a man. Everybody has by now seen the YouTube video clips of her adjusting her crotch or her dancing on Ellen. The investigator and author Susan Daniels once said she did not think that Michelle Obama was a man (many people do) but she thought that Michelle played up her masculine features, perhaps to please her husband.

Be that as it may, Michelle Obama was a terrible first lady even if she had the right chromosomes. She married Barack knowing his political ambitions but instantly hated politics, the White House, and her duties as First Lady. She is credited with sneering at a patriotic event, “All this for a damned flag!” She was sometimes aloof and disconnected from politics, only to get engaged in projects like school lunches. She very much preferred the company of Hollywood to ordinary citizens of the heartland.

Yet she remained strangely popular. She was articulate and could be engaging when she wanted to be. She at times seemed warm but at other times seemed to nurture an almost adolescent rage at having to live in the White House. When Biden was floundering in the White House, the talk on the street was that Michelle would step in and run for President. Barack was not eligible, but the idea was that she could be the “figurehead” and Barack could run the country behind the scenes. After all, Biden was already a figurehead president. Why not another one?

I didn’t think Michelle would run, but not for the usual reasons.

• One group that thought Michelle would never run for the White House is the “she’s a man” group. If Michelle were actually a biological male, it would be rather difficult to conceal in the White House since presidents sometimes have physical examinations.

• I thought she wouldn’t run because Michelle preferred the celebrity lifestyle to an actual job. She wanted to have tennis lessons in the morning, jet over to have lunch with Oprah in the afternoon, and then attend a private party later that night with Hollywood celebrities.

• Michelle was deeply entrenched in the nasty Hollywood culture. Remember how she gushed over how much she adored Harvey Weinstein? She probably attended plenty of parties that she wouldn’t want us to know about. Remember when Chrissy Teigen said that one of her most extreme and bizarre sexual experiences was “that thing at the Obamas”? Michelle doesn’t need people digging into her background.

• And, better than you and I, Michelle knows how much work and effort and aggravation goes into being the President. I always thought she liked the money, the power, the prestige, and the servants… just not the work. Why do the work when she can get the perks without it?

However, I am not sure whether Michelle genuinely opted out of the Presidential race in 2024 or whether she was outmaneuvered since Biden abruptly backed out and any attempt to hold a primary (which is the only way Michelle could have gotten on the ballot) would have required the Democrats to stab Kamala in the back, and nobody wanted to stab another “pretend-African-American” in the back. (Kamala claims to be Black but she’s part white and part Indian with a distant Black great-grandparent somewhere.) At any rate, Michelle did not even try to run although some speculate that her candidacy might have been successful.

I don’t think Michelle is sorry she’s not President, but I did expect her to disappear into the billionaire class. Her sorry attempt to do a podcast makes me wonder if she’s not more political than I gave her credit for.

Now the Obamas are on the brink of divorce, someone should remind them that as long as they are married, spousal privilege exists, meaning one cannot be compelled to testify against the other. (I think this is the glue that holds the Clinton marriage together.) If they divorce, Michelle could possibly testify against Barack and vice versa.

Stick a Fork in Him, He’s Done

Barack Obama has had a few speaking engagements lately and the man who once mesmerized the Democrat National Convention with this electrifying oration cannot seem to draw more than a few dozen bored listeners, some of whom look annoyed, like they did not know he was going to be there speaking. He’s not being sought out as an elder statesman or as a crucial advisor. Nobody wants to invite him to the Sunday talking head shows to get his insights. He has no book deals on the horizon. He doesn’t even do the podcast circuit.

The story is that when Biden took office in 2021, Obama bought a house in Washington, D.C., near the White House so that he could “run” the Biden presidency.

If he did, he did a spectacularly bad job of being a puppet-master. Barack was not svengali, he was often checked out. Lindy Li, the former Democrat mega-donor, said that Hunter Biden frequently was at top-level meetings and Jill was running the Cabinet. Where was Barack? Why bring in a drug addict when you have the legendary Barack Obama on your side? Why let Jill run the government when the great Barack Obama was by his side?

When Biden got shipwrecked every other day, where was Barack? I think he thought he was the guy behind the curtain but really, he was probably just sitting in a Lazy Boy recliner smoking pot and counting his money.

Biden spent most of his presidency lost, confused, speaking in jumbled sentences, or safely tucked away on vacation. You would think that if Obama was running the show, he would have propped Biden up better and made him look good, at least a few times in the four years.

Obama just played at being the “power behind the throne” the same way Biden just played at being President, and, in reality, Obama just frittered the day away. In the book Shattered about Hillary’s failed 2016 presidential bid, there is a story about how Valerie Jarret and Michelle Obama both wanted Hillary off the ticket. Hillary was running for President and both Valerie and Michelle wanted a different but still female candidate. They both thought Liz Warren was the better choice and they wanted Barack to do something about that. They figured if Barack would just encourage and support Liz, she would run for the White House and she could knock Hillary out in the primaries. So Michelle and Valerie got together and ambushed Obama in the Oval Office (apparently not doing anything since they had his full attention for quite a while) and pestered him to ditch Hillary and promote Liz. Obama did not want to do it, but not because he saw no value in it. Barack hated Hillary as much as Michelle and Valerie hated Hillary. But Barack just had that inertia that we commonly see in teenagers but rarely in presidents—it was just too much trouble. He didn’t feel like it, not just then. In the book’s account, Valerie and Michelle lament over the fact that Barack was often just so lazy and disconnected that without their constant nagging and badgering, he would never have done anything at all. (They did manage to badger him into summoning Liz to the White House, but she said she did not want to run and Barack said OK and that was the end of it.)

Laziness and inertia are fine traits for house cats, but not good traits for a president or a post-election puppet-master. Obama wanted to be the man behind the curtain, but he also liked to sit around and smoke pot.

The real failure of Obama is the same failure endemic in the Democrat Party right now—they don’t have a plan, they can’t work together, and the only thing fueling them is raw, seething hatred looking for a target. The few Democrats with any sort of plan are fixated on payoffs, money, insider trading, money laundering, and other corruption. Just follow Liz Warren on X if you want to see a woman trying to protect her grift.

You think the Democrats hate MAGA? The Democrats can’t stand the sight of each other. Obama didn’t like Hillary. Nancy Pelosi doesn’t like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. Rahm Emanuel doesn’t like Bernie. Ilhan Omar doesn’t like Liz Warren, and nobody on earth likes Rashida Tlaib. The entire progressive wing of the Democrats hate Jasmine Crockett but for the wrong reasons. And Fetterman was a Democrat darling until he emerged from his stroke and said something sensible, whereupon he became their arch-enemy.

Obama fragmented the party. His inability to form strong bonds with other Democrats became the constantly replicating DNA of the party.

One Last Thing

Obama is not who he purports to be.

• He was a master of drone strikes. He was responsible for more drone strikes in the first year of his administration than George W. Bush over the course of his whole term. Obama launched 563 strikes (Bush launched 57) and although we don’t know how many civilians Obama killed with these strikes, it has been reported to be as high as 807

• Obama attacked Yemen once in an attack where they got the wrong target and killed 21 children (10 of them were under 5 years of age). They also killed 12 women that day, of whom 5 were pregnant

• Obama passed an executive order that allows media outlets to spread propaganda, that is, they are permitted to spread lies if the government tells them

• But at the same time Obama was drone-attacking Somalia, Yemen, and other places in the Middle East, he was sending funds to Iran and being generally very cozy with terrorist organizations

• It’s just like Obama standing up to defend people like Trayvon Martin but then finding his Black chef Tafari Campbell dead in a shallow pond adjacent to the Obama compound (and yes, Obama was home at the time)

• Remember Benghazi? Hillary gets a lot of the blame for this but Obama was the President. Benghazi was a complicated mess and that is definitely another story for another day.

• He was guilty of crony capitalism when he bullied those lenders who helped support Chrysler in 2009 and got them to accept 30 cents on the dollar in repayment, while meanwhile paying creditors to labor unions much more. While the Supreme Court stood up for the Chrysler lenders, they never got their money back.

• He allowed Congress to exempt itself from Obamacare.

• And this isn’t all. In case you’ve forgotten, Obama got low approval scores during his term, particularly with respect to how he handled ISIS and terrorists.

One day historians will look back on Obama and recognize him for his two most notable achievements: he was the first “Black” President and he summarily destroyed the Democrat Party. They are now fragmented into extreme progressives and fumbling corruptocrats. They have splintered into a gerontocracy and a group of young upstarts who do not know how to write in cursive. Some show up to work drunk. Obama has so tainted the brand that young people are not coming to the party unless they are communists; it’s the reason the party has become weak. If you go on social media, the loudest most obnoxious voices for the Democrats are paid influencers. Go to a Democrat rally or protest (generally called “anti-Trump demonstrations” since the Democrats have no party or policy, they just hate Trump)—those guys are paid, too. The Democrat activist class are the unemployed who collect a few bills here and there by carrying signs and sounding ignorant when commentators try to interview them. (Remember the fun we had asking the pro-Palestinian blue-haired liberal crowd, “what river? what sea?”)

The “big tent” party is losing a lot of important voters that the Democrats always assumed would never leave: Black men, Hispanic men, Hispanic women, immigrants, union workers, college kids, intellectuals, and even Chardonnay-swilling urbanites. Democrats have emerged from the Obama years with only Obama’s main friends supporting them: the Hollywood elite, the obedient media, the billionaire tech boys, and the LGBTQ+ community.

It’s Always the CIA

I think Obama has ties to the intelligence community and he was put into the White House as a hipster Manchurian Candidate. Maybe he did exactly what was wanted: he gave people a reason to cheer and then disappointed them to the point that the Democrat Party fell apart.

If the CIA wanted to destroy America, wouldn’t Obama make perfect sense? We are mourning his failures, but maybe to the CIA this was a win. Obama sailed in on a wave of popular acclaim only to wreak havoc and burn the ship he sailed in on.

Believe it or not, a weak Democrat Party does not benefit this nation. Our nation functions best when we have two strong, functional political parties who wrestle out the issues in good faith. Right now we have one strong party (MAGA), fragments of an aging and very corrupt class (RINOs), and a floundering dumpster fire of a party (Democrats). And the Democrats have no policies, no ideas, no platforms (other than free abortions and transsexual surgeries for everyone under the age of 15), just raw hatred.

I think everything except MAGA was part of the plan.

Right now, I’m not sure that even if the Democrats could pull themselves together and get organized again, they’d ever be able to wield power. They’re like a Mafia family after a big RICO case… everybody hates everybody else. Everybody is suspicious of even their closest friends. There are no allies. Everybody is wearing a wire. And Obama seems a little more like Fredo than Michael.
