There are actual websites and media outlets that accuse Trump of telling thousands of lies. Talk to any Democrat and they’ll assure you that one of Trump’s major flaws (and some will say it is perhaps his only flaw) is the fact that he lies constantly. But when you ask your average Democrat what these lies are, they generally don’t know.
There are more Democrats lying about Trump than lies that Trump ever told.
A Lie That Is Explained with Another Lie
Nobody prides themselves more on documenting the alleged lies of President Trump than the The Washington Post (WaPo). Here is a statement from Trump that WaPo brands as a blatant lie:
“After decades of unending illegal immigration and mass uncontrolled entry, we’ve turned the tide as never before—illegal border-crossings are down 73%.”
According to WaPo, this statement pronounced by Donald Trump is a lie. This ridiculous newspaper says the lie is in the statement “unending illegal immigration and mass uncontrolled entry.” According to WaPo, “illegal immigration has been declining in general for years.”
Really? Where? In the Andromeda Galaxy? I live in the United States and the WaPo’s name suggests they are in the same country—and illegal immigration has been going down for years?
This would mean that there was less illegal immigration in 2020 than, say, in 1990? I think not. That seems sort of mendacious to me. WaPo’s case about making out Trump to be a liar means they have to resort to lying themselves! And they also heroically point out, illegal border crossings are down 72%, not the 73% that Trump said. I’m not sure that Trump is right or wrong on the percent but it seems like a quibble if we split hairs as to whether it’s down by 72% or 73%. That could be due to rounding. The difference between 72% and 73% hardly seems like a lie to me.
Please notice how stupid WaPo is. On the one hand, it claims that Trump is lying because immigration has been going down for years—but on the other hand they admit that illegal border crossings have dropped 72% under Trump who has only been in office since January 2025.
Huh?
WaPo Doesn’t Have the Data, Claims a Lie Anyway
At Trump’s recent June 14, 2025 birthday bash, the President claimed, “We broke the all-time record for this arena” in terms of attendance. I’m not sure where this arena was. Was he talking about the parade on that day? Or a specific event. Nevertheless, WaPo slaims this statement (of obvious geopolitical importance) and screams, “Liar!” because there were “empty seats.” How does that disprove what Trump said? Nobody is allowed to leave their seat? What are the numbers, that is, what is the arena’s capacity, what was its record attendance, and how many showed up at the Trump party? WaPo doesn’t say and I can’t seem to find out.
To make this into one of the Trump cavalcade of fraud, this seems pretty lame. Eyeballing crowd size to give an estimate is pretty tough and, in the end, it doesn’t matter except to the WaPo. It’s clutching at straws.
Trump Lies, While Biden Is the Paragon of Truth, Virtue, and Integrity
The Democrats lied to us for four years that Biden was competent and WaPo devotes more column inches to a story about attendance at a presidential birthday party than about the biggest scam in American history—the installation and manipulation of an incapacitated man to pose as a faux-president. And Biden—when they let him out and he got to a microphone—said some pretty amazingly untrue things, none of which the WaPo or anybody else in the D.C. bubble or the mainstream media ever debunked.
I never saw WaPo debunk the claim that Biden had oil cancer or that his Uncle Bosey was eaten by cannibals or that he was going to build a railroad over the Indian Ocean. Now those are some humdingers, but Biden like all Democrats will never be accused of ever telling a lie.
How’s the Weather?
If Donald Trump were to one day step outdoors and announce, “It’s hot outside,” the WaPo would add this to its list of lies, since it was hotter on some other day in human history. Or maybe they’ll point out that it’s a lie because it’s actually hotter on Mercury than it is in D.C. Or maybe Trump told a lie that day because it was hotter in Miami than in D.C., therefore Trump is misleading the public.
Yes, it’s that bad.
Clairvoyants
In some cases, when WaPo calls Trump a liar, they are basing it on something Trump never said. In other words, they argue what Trump said is somehow misleading or that they know what Trump secretly meant and what he secretly meant was misleading. Take this statement made by Trump that WaPo brands a lie:
“Thousands of new jobs are being re-shored back to America—including jobs at Ford, General Motors, Fiat Chrysler, Sprint, Intel, and so many more.”
That’s actually a true statement and even the kooks at WaPo do not dispute its accuracy. WaPo has stretched the meaning of “lie” to include “statements that are accurate but that we don’t like to hear.”
The reason they’re accusing Trump of lying is because “Trump takes undue credit for business decisions made prior to his election.” But I don’t see that in the statement. I see Trump stating that jobs are coming back. I don’t see him saying he brought the jobs back single-handedly. I don’t even hear him saying who was part of bringing the jobs back. He doesn’t spell out a timeline for jobs returning to this country. He doesn’t say why the jobs are coming back, how they’re coming back, or who was involved in this change.
What Trump said about jobs returning to America is true. Yet WaPo counts this one statement as 25 lies. Why? Because Trump said this statement or something similar 25 times. (Trump speaks at staged and impromptu press conferences all of the time, plus he communicates by social media very often, and WaPo counts the same statement as a new lie if it’s repeated—and Trump often repeats himself. It’s what good communicators do!)
So that one true statement counts in the WaPo archives as 25 lies!
Who’s lying now?
When Truth Is Called a Lie
Now how about this statement made by Donald Trump, which WaPo says is a lie:
“Compliance with the [Paris Climate] agreement could shrink the U.S. GDP by $2.5 trillion over a ten-year period.”
Even the WaPo knows this is true. Notice how it is phrased: “it could shrink…” This statement is a prediction or estimate of what could happen. I don’t think you can really call it a “lie” since the event Trump is predicting has not yet happened. If I said back in October of 2016, “Hillary could win the Presidential election” is that a lie? No, it’s a prediction based on what we knew at the time. And it doesn’t say she would win, it said there was a possibility she would win. Yet if we use the WaPo’s rules, that statement is an egregious lie worthy of the immediate death penalty.
Trump was not stating for a fact that the GDP will decrease by exactly $2.5 trillion, he was just stating an official estimate of what “could” happen. How can this be chalked up as a a blatant lie? WaPo calls it a lie and defends their false accusation by stating, “this is an extreme estimate produced by opponents of the agreement.”
Trump is not picking this $2.5 trillion out of thin air; it’s a real estimate. Even WaPo knows this is a real estimate based on a real organization using real data. But WaPo doesn’t like this estimate. What WaPo is stating here is that President Trump—the President of the United States— may only cite estimates that the WaPo approves of, otherwise the WaPo will go to press and pixel and accuse the President (possibly the greatest president in American history) of being a liar and a fraud and a fake. I guess that means Trump may only cite estimates made by people who support the Paris accords and even then, only if the WaPo approves. WaPo recognizes this as an official estimate—they just disagree with it and, therefore, Trump is lying.
Trump isn’t lying, WaPo, you are. A lie is a false statement not a true statement you don’t like.
Lies Fester in Darkness
And just one more from a list of thousands. Trump stated:
“I have issued a five-year ban on federal officials becoming lobbyists after they leave government service.”
The WaPo claims this statement is a lie. But it’s true. Trump did exactly that. There is nothing false about this statement except that it appears on a website listing Trump lies. There is no part of that statement that is false. When WaPo says this is a lie, they’re lying.
The reason they count this as a “lie” is that according to the frauds at the WaPo, Trump “weakened Obama-era rules.” Who said anything about Obama? If this were a court of law, I would jump up and scream “Objection” and sayd they were introducing facts not in evidence. But then the WaPo falls off the rails and into a ditch. It argues the Obama-era rules “were tougher and reduced transparency.” I’m not sure reducing transparency is a laudable goal. In fact, I don’t even understand their statement. It’s a lie because Trump made a rule that overrode a rule that Obama previously made and which the WaPo liked better but which was less transparent?
It’s a typical instance of the Democrat shuffle: accuse, incite, and redirect.
All in All, It’s Just Another Lie for the Wall
The most egregious lie about lying from the WaPo may be this statement made by Trump. It hurts my heart to know that some American journalists hate our President so ardently that they are willing to speak out in favor of modern-day slavery just to call the President a liar.
“But you need that wall to stop the human trafficking, to stop the drugs, to stop the wrong people. You need the wall.”
According to WaPo this is a lie. How is it a lie? Well, WaPo reports, “There is little evidence that human trafficking takes place over the U.S.-Mexican border.” WaPo also says, “As for drugs, that is also dubious.” Considering the number of missing children who came over the Southern Border, this seems both false and highly dangerous. You would think all Americans would be sensitive to human trafficking and so heart broken over these tragic stories that they woulde not be trying to cover it up. And just Google it or go to AI (ChatGPT, Google Gemini, and friends) if you think WaPo has a leg to stand on claiming that human trafficking and drug smuggling are rare occurrences over our once-wide-open border.
In fact, WaPo thinks they’re so rare that even mentioning them is a lie.
Imagine denying the most egregious crimes of drug smuggling and human trafficking (modern-day slavery) just in an effort to smear Trump? How hateful can you get?
And that’s how we got here.
Election Liars
Anyone who has ever disagreed with a Democrat is labeled a liar. Remember when some folks said the 2020 election was rigged? That was “the big lie.” It was a “baseless allegation.” It was an “existential threat” to democracy to say anything a Democrat disagreed with, especially with respect to the 2020 election or as I call it—the big cheat. And yet now we know the election was rigged. So sometimes Democrats say you’re lying when you’re telling the truth they don’t like.
Democrats will also accuse people of lying, when all they were really doing is disagreeing. Deviate from the Democrat narrative and you’re a liar. Case closed.
Coming back to that statement where Trump says we need a wall, he’s stating his opinion. Democrats want open borders and unrestricted access into the United States for everyone, particularly criminals and human traffickers. Trump doesn’t. Therefore, Democrats scream, “Liar!” Trump is lying when he says an open border is bad. Trump is lying when he says human trafficking is bad.
It’s not a lie to want something that Democrats don’t want.
If you say January 6 was a fed-surrection, you’re branded a liar by Democrats. This is one of their favorite hobby horses.
Never mind that Congressional testimony says that multiple federal agents were in the crowd that day
Never mind Cassidy Hutchins lied under oath
Forget that Liz Cheney suborned perjury by coaching Hutchins’ false testimony
Never mind that Nancy Pelosi refused the National Guard when Trump offered it more than once
And why don’t Democrats think it’s suspicious that when Biden left office, he gave blanket pardons to all of the J6 Committee members who held a kangaroo court on the event? If they were fair and honest investigators and their judgments were sound, why would they need criminal pardons? What kind of an investigation demands that you pardon the judges? Imagine if they did this in the Diddy trial—through Diddy in prison but then give blanket pardons to the judge and jury?
If you say the economy under Trump is better than the economy under Biden, even the most mild-mannered Democrat white-haired old lady granny will call you a liar. If you say human trafficking is a problem, those same people will also brand you as a liar unless you blame Trump for it and say Biden prevented all human trafficking but Trump caused it. Of course, if you said that, you’d be a liar, which to a Democrat means you’re telling the truth.
No wonder 41% of this country has anxiety. No wonder our school kids lack critical thinking skills. They’ve grown up in a world of gaslighting.
If you say you don’t like abortion, you’re a liar. You have no right to an opinion that contradicts the Democrat narrative and the Democrats favor abortion without restrictions, even late term.
If you say you think biological men should not be in women’s sports, well, you’re just a nazi. I’ve been called a nazi, more than once, and even by people who know me (they just don’t like that I like Trump). My favorite time of being called a nazi was by a sweet little old white-haired lady who goes to my church. She accused all people who voted for Trump of being nazis. She made this claim on social media. We’re all nazis. I called her on this and she said, “I was angry.” Not, “Sorry I called you a nazi without cause,” which is a better response.
Democrats have never asked me for advice, but here is a freebie.
Entertain alternative ideas; you won’t die if you dare to have a thought not approved by your party
Consider viewpoints different than your own
Quit calling anyone who does not think like you do a nazi. In fact, quit calling anyone a nazi who wasn’t active in German politics from about 1930 to 1945. This does not include me. Or Trump
Alternatively, get used to plummeting approvals. Newsweek (hardly a right-wing source) admits early in June 2025 that Democrats in Congress have an approval rating of 21%. That’s crazy low. Even 53% of Democrats disapprove of Democrats in Congress, and they voted them in! More than half of the people who voted for Democrats think they’re a train wreck.
Overall, Democrat approval ratings nation wide are around 29% and dropping like a stone. According to CNN, this is the lowest they’ve been since 1992. Their approvals are down 20 points since January 2021. And the more Jasmine Crockett grabs the microphone at Congressional hearings, the lower that number is going go. The more Monica McIver assaults ICE officers, the lower that number is going to go. And the more WaPo screams “Liar!” at Trump when he’s not lying at all, the lower it will go.
Maybe Democrats should start telling the truth about lying. Liar, heal yourself.
If you want to read all of the Washington Post’s list of Trump lies and their lame defenses here is the link. And next time a Democrat calls you a nazi, say, “Thank you.” Thank them because every time they accuse of being nazis or lying, their numbers go lower and ours go higher. It’s like Michelle Obama said in a different context: when they go low, we go high.
