During mainstream media (MSM) Presidential election coverage in November 2016, the usual well-coifed pundits were palpably giddy with the thought—no, the absolute conviction—that Hillary Clinton would become our first woman president. The landslide victory was expected to be so extreme that it would embarrass the Republican party to the extent that it might not ever recover. After all, the Democrats were running Hillary, an iconic figure so deeply embedded in American politics that people argued it was “her turn” to hold the office. She was opposed by Donald J. Trump, a billionaire playboy best known for gaudy hotels and a long-running reality show. The pundits laughed that while Democrats were running a candidate with gravitas and credentials, the best the Republicans could muster was a blustering TV star with too many ex-wives.
“This could be the end of the Republican Party,” said one of the lefty pundits gravely, although he wasn’t sad at all. He was all but dancing on the desk. “They might never recover from this.” I don’t know if that’s exactly what he said or even who said it—what I remember is that it was a big-name MSM guy who assured us they were already out back digging the grave for the GOP.
Then Trump won and I thought, maybe this is the end of the Democrat party.
There is a wonderful book in the Bible about Queen Esther. The Jewish people in her day (as now) had many enemies and over and over in her story, just as the enemies were gloating over the destruction of the Jews, things turned around in a sudden reversal of fortune and it was the Jews who triumphed. Trump’s 2016 victory in the Presidential election reminded me of Esther’s story. Just when the enemy thought their victory was in the bag, they instead met with a catastrophic end.
It may be too early to call the coroner, but I think the Democrats are done for. Now it’s not over yet and there is typically a last rally or two before a patient at end-of-life gives up the ghost. But here’s why I think that Joe Biden is the perfect symbol of the Democrats’ demise.
Back in 2020, Joe Biden was possibly the most pitiful candidate among many, and the fact that the Democrats ran such a poor specimen of a politician for POTUS indicates they really don’t have a good team anymore. No bench. There is no Jack Kennedy or Barack Obama waiting in the wings to save them. They just had this creaky old codger and a bunch of no-experience upstarts like Pete Buttigieg, Marianne Williamson, Eric Swalwell, and Andrew Yang. And don’t forget Liz Warren, DEI imposter. But among these lackluster candidates, Joe Biden stood out because he came with a brand—and his brand was that, sure, he was a multi-decade denizen of the Senate, but he was a decent guy. He came from a working class background. He liked blue-collar Americans. After all, he was “Lunch Bucket Joe.” He was the guy who rode the rails to Washington D.C. from his home in Delaware where he and his sister were raising his two young sons. Joe was a guy who survived tragedy—his wife and daughter were killed in a car wreck and later his surviving son succumbed at an early age to brain cancer. Joe had a biography of political wins and human losses, so people could relate to him. Joe was no stranger to loss or pain. Plus he arrived with a long legacy in the Senate. Voters could see that in the past, he favored strict anticrime laws, wanted to curb illegal immigration, and he supported unions.
Joe Biden arrived for the 2020 election with some good baggage: he was the old-school Democrat, friend of the working man, champion of the underdog, favoring better wages for workers and robust support systems for our poor and disabled. He often held leadership positions on committees in the Senate; he was respected at least, even though he was never known for his keen intellect. He was the moderate’s moderate on the Democrat roster. He knew politics, even if he never knew how to spell Afghanistan (the Biden secret trove of documents at the Penn Biden Center have notes in Biden’s own hand where he consistently spelled the country over which he was making huge decision as Afganistan).
The transition from Lunch Bucket Joe to Dark Brandon was a bait-and-switch operation. Biden got into office and on Day 1 emerged as the radical’s radical. He undid everyone of Trump’s border security acts and a flood of illegals came pouring in. As of today, we can estimate that about 8 million foreigners entered this country illegally—if they built their own city, it would likely be the largest in the country, larger than New York. He pushed through Green New Deal, tried to ban gas stoves, punished the conventional car market, expanded the IRS, threatened to pack the Supreme Court, and introduced radical pro-abortion policies. One of his cabinet argued publicly to transition our military to all electric vehicles. Others in his orbit assured us the border was closed and that inflation was temporary. He juked the numbers to argue he created thousands of jobs which were just jobs recovered in the aftermath of COVID. At White House festivities, he took down Old Glory to display the Pride Flag. He had a bare-breasted person dancing on the White House lawn at an Easter event. He stacked his Cabinet with ardent liberals and some freakish characters like an obese transexual in the Department of Health and Human Services. And remember Sam Brinton, the luggage thief who attended events of state wearing a beard and an evening gown? Biden, who rarely grants serious substantive interviews, sat down with transsexual icon Dylan Mulvaney. He gave an interview to lewd songstress and former robber/prostitute Cardi B. He talked with Nicki Minaj.
Biden worked fast to close down pipelines, drain our Strategic Petroleum Reserve down to fumes, and, if allegations are true, even met with Fani Willis’s legal team to coordinate lawfare attacks on his political enemy. He was President as J6 defendants got cruel and unusual sentences and were tortured in DC gulags. The list is too long: Afghanistan, Gaza, Nordstream Pipeline, free transgender surgeries to our military, transferring student debt to taxpayers (contrary to the Supreme Court’s ruling), and on and on.
Biden made sure the United States paid the social entitlements like salaries and pensions to Ukraine’s bureaucrats while giving the victims of the Maui fire a one-time payment of $700 per household. Dark Brandon made sure Americans knew who mattered to him and who didn’t—and Americans did not matter to him.
Just so you know how utterly cruel Biden turned out to be, during the chaotic withdrawal from Afghanistan that Biden choreographed, a handler made arrangements to transport our contract service dogs out of the country. It cost something like a million dollars, but the money was raised privately, a handler came out, and dogs were put in kennels waiting for the plane to leave. (There were 50 to 100 dogs and some of them were bomb-sniffing dogs who risked their lives for the United States.) The handler was to escort them, there was room on the plane. Biden ordered that the dogs be abandoned. Never mind their escape was arranged, the dogs were there waiting, things were paid for privately, and there was room on the plane. Biden demanded the dogs be left there. They were abandoned in their kennels and likely starved to death. A report says they may have been let out of their cages, but they were just let loose. Muslims, as a rule, are not fond of dogs so they may have been killed or even tortured as symbols of America. That story was squelched by the media and it makes you wonder why good-hearted Lunch Bucket Joe would gratuitously want loyal service dogs to die cruel deaths. The dogs died for no reason at all, except Lunch Bucket Joe had the power to kill them. These dogs died for no reason other than Lunch Bucket Joe thought it would amusing. (Wonder why his own dogs constantly bite people? They’re vicious because Biden treats them poorly.) If you don’t believe this absolutely horrifying story, here’s a link. It’s worse than I describe.
Back in 2016, many Democrats did not vote for Bernie, fearing he was too far left. After all, Bernie was openly a socialist and even honeymooned in Cuba (an illegal act). Biden makes Bernie look like Barry Goldwater. Biden took the Squad’s ultra-progressive policies and pushed them further left.
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC) is a known leftist; she likes the Green New Deal. I never heard AOC advocate for locking up political enemies, but Biden does that. I never heard Rashida Tlaib, another known leftist, advocate for naked dancing on the White House lawn to celebrate Pride, but Biden does that. I never heard Ilhan Omar, a known lefty extremist, tell Taiwan we’d not defend them, but Joe has more or less signaled that. Over and over, Joe goes further left than where known extremists fear to go.
Biden is right now in the midst of abandoning our ally Israel for the crime of allowing themselves to be attacked by Hamas and not bowing down to apologize to Hamas for “making them do it.” Biden has been behind a bill that would ban Christians from adopting foster kids—you know why? Because if a foster kid wanted to change his or her sex, a Christian parent might not immediately schedule surgery! Biden’s regime coined the phrase “Christian Nationalists” and called them the number one threat to America. I never heard Ayanna Pressley call Christians a threat to anything, and she’s a known wild-eyed leftist.
Biden is beyond anything we ever could have expected. Obama was extremely liberal, but he was measured. He knew that you could not just do anything that popped into your little commie head. Biden has weaponized federal agencies against his political opponents. He has publicly stood in front of Independence Hall and castigated Republicans as being terroristic threats to the United States. He is pouring money as fast as he can into Ukraine although there are more-than-credible allegations that he is benefiting financially from those “contributions” (which, by the way, he said do not have to be accounted for—we give Zelenskyy billions and he can do as he pleases).
When cocaine was discovered at the White House, the most secure building on earth, Biden made the problem “go away” by getting the Secret Service to say it was an unsolvable crime. In a building with that much security and that many video cameras not to mention other security tools, it doesn’t take Nancy Drew to know that the security teams there know 100% for sure where that coke came from and for whom it was intended. But Biden made the problem disappear—because that’s how dictators operate.
And that’s why Biden is going to lose. Yes, they’re gearing up to rig the vote. Yes, Soros and crew are paying thousands of trolls to post on X (formerly Twitter) about how great a statesman Biden is. Yes, the mainstream media are all lined up with their marching orders, stating the same talking points verbatim. Yes, all of the weapons are deployed. Yes, the MSM is cackling and the lawfare cases are going. And yes, there are a lot of stupid people in America who vote.
But Biden is going to lose.
Now it may be that Biden does not even run. It’s getting late in the game to have an alternate candidate jump in, but we live in a Democrat banana republic now so who is to say that can’t happen? Biden may also drop out for ill health—I don’t wish that on him—but the man is visibly decrepit. As incumbent, Biden is running for office virtually unopposed so unless he takes a powder, he’s the Democrat candidate for President. But even if he’s not, who else do the Democrats have? There’s Gavin Newsom—there is a recall vote in California going on to get him out of office there. So he’s not exactly full of promise if they even hate him in liberal California. There’s also sneering Gretchen Whitmire who made the sale of paint illegal during COVID, great legacy there. Kamala Harris might have jumped in, but she is the only person on earth held in lower regard than Joe Biden. I don’t even think her husband would vote for her at this point. Maybe there are other potential candidates, but there is no Democrat savior waiting in the wings. In fact, every single Democrat I can think of comes with the stench of failure.
But it is not just Biden who is going to lose, it’s the whole party. If they had even one strong wholesome candidate in that mix, they might have a fighting chance. But they’re down to the dregs. And even if a good Democrat were to rise up from the ashes, the Democrat party’s reign of terror is grinding to a close. They ran Biden as a moderate and people voted for him precisely for that reason. They didn’t write in “Stalin” on the ballot, they voted for the middle-of-the-road Democrat, the guy who in the past knew how to compromise across the aisle. And Biden gave us all the middle finger and proceeded to tear our nation apart.
Why did Joe lean so hard left when he took office? It was like he wanted to out-squad the Squad.
Some say he was taking directives from Obama and Obama just wanted a shill to put in place crazy policies that Obama liked but would not have had the nerve to mandate. This doesn’t make sense to me, because it destroyed Biden’s term and taught Americans not to trust even moderate Democrats because they’re authoritarian communists in moderate clothing.
Maybe Biden leaned so hard left because he wanted a legacy and he figured that to get a good legacy, you need to be an extremist. The problem is that the old Lunch Bucket Joe character would have been able to read the room better. But maybe he just wanted extreme change to cement his legacy. It doesn’t matter that his vision of this new America is a hellscape—it’s change for change’s sake.
I used to think maybe Biden was just insane or so severely impaired mentally that he just did random things as they occurred to him. I do not think this is the case, because Biden’s decisions are always wrong and always hurt Americans. If his decision-making process was random, some decisions would favor Americans. Biden is consistently harmful to the country and consistency implies intention.
At any rate, Biden did more than just destroy America in these past years. I say this with sorrow but also optimism because America is fixable. The Democrat party isn’t.
Biden’s descent into hate-fueled communism coupled with the Democrat inability to build a solid party bench will be its death knell. First, Biden and/or the replacement Democrat will lose. And there will be a few more Democrat candidates here and there. But the powerful party that gave us Kennedy and Clinton and Obama is gone. And the legacy of Joe Biden will be that he was the one who killed his own party for the sake of his own legacy.
"Biden is beyond anything we ever could have expected. Obama was extremely liberal, but he was measured. He knew that you could not just do anything that popped into your little commie head. Biden has weaponized federal agencies against his political opponents."
Actually, it was the UNIPARTY starting with the Clintons who began weaponizing the agencies and the US media. There’s plenty to support this claim. They clearly began the corruption of the DOJ, FBI and IRS, and just look at all the Clinton staff who ended up in mainstream media.
During Bush’s regime, the UNIPARTY put in place the tools that Obama would use to weaponize the intelligence agencies against political opponents. I don’t think he did this by accident. Obama also completed the weaponization of the IRS, DOJ, and FBI. He weaponized Social Media and began the process of weaponizing the military against the US people. Before Biden took office, Congress, the courts and intel agencies were already weaponized against conservatives. That's why 2020 ended up the way it was. I suggest reading this (https://theconservativetreehouse.com/blog/2024/04/13/the-intel-agencies-of-government-are-fully-weaponized/#more-260093) and this (https://theconservativetreehouse.com/blog/2016/10/17/the-u-s-media-has-fully-weaponized-a-remarkable-thing-to-witness/#more-123273) for starters.
To be frank, I don’t think Biden was capable of doing anything like you imagine. He was already suffering from dementia four years ago during the campaign. He couldn’t possibly have been running the show these last four years. Someone(s) were pulling his strings. I suspect Obama (and perhaps Hillary). One of them is likely decide what to do about the problem of Joe.
“But Biden is going to lose.”
Well I hope you’re right. But if I’m right about others pulling Joe’s strings, the games not over. Especially when the election system hasn’t been fixed, the left controls the media and courts, and much of the American public continue to be ignorant or unconcerned about all this. The situation is ripe for cheating. What do we do if those in control announce that Biden won, like they did in 2020? Get the media to care? Try to sue again? None of that worked the last time.
What a legacy...
